Pitkin County approves health agreement, housing conveyance, behavioral‑health grant and conservation MOU

Health agreement and intergovernmental partnerships: Jordana Sabella, the county public‑health director, presented a restated interorganizational agreement between Pitkin County, Eagle County, Aspen Valley Health and Mountain Family Health Centers to support integrated primary, behavioral and oral health services at the Basalt clinic through a per‑member monthly fee. The board repealed prior resolutions and set a public hearing and second reading for June 10.
Housing conveyance: The board approved second reading and finalized the conveyance of Unit T1703 (35 Lower Woodbridge Road, Snowmass Village) to an employee buyer; staff confirmed proceeds ($649,933) will return to the 2026 capital fund and noted county‑paid special assessments for roof replacement.
Behavioral health: Dan Felon summarized a $180,000 jail‑based behavioral services grant (case management, mental‑health services and re‑entry supports) and the board approved a sixth amendment to a contract with the Colorado Department of Human Services Behavioral Health Administration to continue funding.
Conservation MOU: Gary Tenenbaum presented a second reading MOU with Eagle County to reimburse and jointly manage 3 Meadows Ranch; staff reported roughly $100,000 spent to date split between counties and noted on‑site housing for a property manager and a three‑year study period before a final management plan. The board approved the MOU in a voice vote.
