Dunn County comprehensive plan moves toward September adoption; Urban Sewer Service Area Plan work continues

Committee members heard that Dunn County's comprehensive plan is advancing (Land Use draft now available online) with four open houses planned and a target adoption in Sept. 2026; the Urban Sewer Service Area Plan stakeholder group has one meeting left in early June, aiming for WisDNR approval by year end.
Tammy Traxler updated the committee on progress with the Dunn County Comprehensive Plan, saying the Land Use section is under development and a Future Land Use Map is now available online. Traxler said the county will hold four open houses to collect public feedback and aims to adopt the plan in September 2026; she distributed a flyer and will email it to Recording Secretary Megen Hines for distribution to the committee.
Separately, the committee heard that the stakeholder group for the Urban Sewer Service Area Plan continues to meet; one meeting was scheduled for early June with the goal of completing the plan this summer and seeking Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources approval by the end of 2026.
No formal actions were taken on either planning item at the meeting.
