The board also approved the routine Stars & Stripes July 3–4 closures; staff said insurance and notices are in place. The Stars & Stripes vote included one abstention recorded by the chair. All other event requests were approved by voice vote.
Approvals covered street closures and event footprints; none authorized new city spending beyond standard event permitting and insurance requirements. Organizers were instructed to follow standard permitting and notification requirements.
