Students highlight spring concerts, awards and a D.C. parade at Depew board meeting

Elementary updates included a brief report from fifth‑grader Connor Wasilowski. Superintendent Mrs. Smith highlighted the district’s discovery night, a tech‑suite ribbon cutting and noted that more than 40 marching band students traveled to Washington, D.C., to march in the nation’s 250th‑anniversary parade — footage the district plans to share publicly.
The district’s calendar reminders include a DHS and DMS jazz band concert on June 2, senior activities and multiple moving‑up ceremonies; the final full day of classes is June 16, with final exams beginning June 17.
