The Allendale Charter Township Board approved general claims totaling $2,219,561.10 and interim payments of $199,925.26 at its May 26 meeting, accepted notices of several seasonal hires, heard public comments from residents and recessed the meeting to tour the township’s Water Resource Recovery Facility.
Trustee MacDonald moved to approve the consent agenda items, including the minutes of May 11, 2026; the motion and the consent resolutions passed. The personnel items recorded in the meeting packet listed seasonal hires: Mason Mellenberger, Jacob Babcock and Jett Galloway.
Public comment was recorded from Gail Roelofs, Joel Roelofs, Marcia Hoekstra and later Sarah Avink; the meeting transcript lists the commenters but does not include the content of their remarks.
