Local restaurant owner praises Milpitas for city help that eased opening

Mamita, owner of Captain Duca Jin, said opening her restaurant in Milpitas was easier than she had feared because city staff provided help and support throughout the process. "Every step, wherever we need city, help, support, they are always there for us," she said.

She introduced herself and her business at the start of her remarks, saying, "Is Mamita, and, my business name is Captain Duca Jin." She recalled anxieties before opening — "When we think about the to about to open our restaurant, we were kind of worried" — and said those worries were relieved by the assistance she received.

Mamita praised Milpitas as a place for business growth, saying, "Milpitas is very, beautiful city. It has very, opportunity to grow your business." She added that the city is "always ready to help the new commerce, new business owner, so it's a perfect place to open your business."

Closing her remarks, Mamita described her experience as fortunate: "But here in Milpitas, what I feel is, like, seriously, it was blessing. It was really blessing." The comments highlighted a local entrepreneur's positive experience with municipal support for business startups.
