Finance staff presented a brief "health check," reporting revenues running just under $651,000 above budget year to date, driven by higher interest income and town clerk fees; short‑term invested balances and interest‑rate ranges were also reviewed. The board noted the remaining contingency balance and that updated fund balances will be available after the town audit adjustments.
Board members directed staff to continue assembling budget workshop materials and to present department line‑by‑line reviews at upcoming workshops in February and March. The meeting adjourned at 8:52 p.m.
