The Enfield Planning & Zoning Commission voted on May 14 to release a $200,000 performance bond for 98 Elm Street, a site submitted by Willowbrook Enfield LLC / Zenleaf LLC and listed in the meeting record as PH503057/PH310498.
Planning staff reported the site is complete with no erosion issues and satisfactory landscaping, citing a recommendation from zoning officer Rick Richeli. A commissioner moved to approve release of the performance bond; the motion was seconded and, after roll call, the commission recorded the motion as passing unanimously (recorded as 7–0).
The vote removes the town’s secured guarantee for performance on that permit condition and allows the property owner to proceed without the bond held against the project. Any outstanding code or permit compliance issues remain enforceable by the town under relevant regulations.
