Council discussion explained the sequence: sewer replacement design enables later street resurfacing under DOT local aid grants, and design fees for resurfacing are expected to be refiled to grant funding so the borough may ultimately recover the cost. For Ocean Park Avenue, council noted prior temporary DPW repairs and that design work will position the borough to complete surfacing and ADA curb ramps when grant funds are available.
The MS4 contract was presented as a mandated state compliance activity and estimated at roughly $20,000. Council members approved each resolution by roll call during the meeting.
