The Redmond City Council approved routine business items and two formal actions during the meeting.
The consent agenda — which included minutes from Jan. 27, a Juniper Golf Course driving-range improvement contract for $204,043 and an independent cost-estimate amendment with CONSOR North America Inc. for the East Side Arterial (TR 2403) for $25,027 — was moved, seconded and approved by voice vote.
Mayor Fitch nominated Jeff Curtis to serve on the city’s tourism and lodging committee. A councilor moved to appoint Curtis, the motion was seconded and received unanimous assent.
The council also authorized award of the Northpointe Vista pump-station construction contract to Taylor Northwest LLC in the amount of $682,850.05. Steve Ashworth (Deputy City Manager) said the bid was responsive, below the engineer’s estimate of $750,000, and funded in part by state grant funding; the council moved, seconded and approved the award by voice vote.
No roll-call tallies were read into the record for these actions; votes were recorded by unanimous vocal assent.
