Auditor Heidi Goebel presented a proposal to change the county’s travel meal reimbursement from actual receipts reimbursement to a per-diem cap. The board voted unanimously to set a maximum travel meal reimbursement of $40 per day, with receipts required.
On landscaping for the courthouse addition, the board reached consensus to solicit bids for final landscaping. Blueprints presented to the board show the contractor will provide six inches of dirt and seed grass in disturbed lawn areas; the board asked staff to obtain competitive bids on final landscaping costs.
With those administrative items decided, the meeting adjourned at 10:37 a.m.
