The motion was seconded by Mr. Duran and approved by voice vote.
The chair said any discussion that need not remain confidential "will be made public as soon as this practical" and that minutes of the closed session "will not be disclosed until the need for confidentiality no longer exists." The chair cited compliance with the Open Public Meetings Act (chapter 231, Laws of New Jersey 1975) as the legal basis for the executive session.
The board indicated it would return to regular session and take action on matters as appropriate; the public session later reopened and was recorded as open at 10:20 a.m.
