The payment covers an outstanding balance the board identified as due to Christensen Construction. Pluth moved the funding transfer from LOSST, arguing the county should use available local-option revenue to resolve the contractor balance; Quastad joined the motion but recorded a later opposing vote. The board did not finalize other pending courthouse funding items at the same time.
Supervisors also discussed related courthouse matters, including landscaping and whether the east window should be paid from the Non‑Departmental Building Fund; those items were tabled for a future meeting pending further review.
