He also listed a Western Washtenaw Recycling Authority meeting coming the following week.
Mayor Kate Henson said she toured the water plant, encouraged fellow council members to visit city facilities, and thanked staff for their work. She described Destination Ann Arbor's efforts to promote tourism dollars to Chelsea, including plans for a satellite office in the Clock Tower and a larger campaign next year. Henson said she spoke with County Commissioner Jason Maciejewski about the Courthouse property and announced volunteer openings on the Community Emergency Response Committee (CERC) and the Zoning Board of Appeals.
