Livingston County authorizes lease of 130 sq ft to NYS Department of Education (ACCES‑VR)

The Livingston County Ways & Means Committee authorized on April 20 a lease of about 130 square feet in the Livingston County Government Center (Room 105, 6 Court Street, Geneseo) to the New York State Department of Education (ACCES‑VR).
County Attorney John Lockhart reviewed the lease terms: the proposed start date is Jan. 1, 2026, with termination on Dec. 31, 2028; rent is $363.37 per month for the first year with a 3% annual escalator. The resolution authorizes the chairman to sign the lease, subject to approval by the County Attorney and County Administrator.
The motion to approve the lease was moved by Mr. Gott and seconded by Mr. DiSalvo and was carried by the committee. The minutes indicate the authorization is subject to the usual internal approvals.
