The Livingston County Ways & Means Committee authorized on April 20 an engagement letter with Stamm Law Firm, LLP to provide legal services to the Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation related to accounts receivable and matters involving Medicaid and the Department of Social Services.
Samontra Spencer explained the center would like to retain its current attorney, who moved to a new firm, and reviewed budgeted costs. The engagement lists hourly billing rates (partner $275; associate $225; paralegal $150). The resolution authorizes the chairman to sign the engagement letter subject to review by the County Attorney and County Administrator.
The motion to approve the engagement was moved by Mr. Pangrazio and seconded by Mr. Wadsworth and was carried by the committee. The minutes show the action as approved; no roll‑call tally is recorded in the committee minutes.
