Livingston County approves $490,555 in mortgage tax distributions to towns and villages

The Livingston County Ways & Means Committee approved on April 20 the apportionment of mortgage tax receipts for the period Oct. 1, 2025, through Mar. 31, 2026, totaling $490,555.27.
County Treasurer Amy Davies reviewed the distribution table showing amounts to towns and villages; examples in the apportionment include Livonia ($95,305.07), Avon ($74,742.74) and Geneseo ($52,610.30). The resolution directs the County Treasurer to pay the listed amounts to the municipalities and notes that checks will be mailed after the board meeting.
The motion to approve the apportionment was moved by Mr. Pangrazio and seconded by Mr. DiSalvo and was carried by the committee. The minutes do not record a roll‑call tally.
