Madison County emergency-management staff and a representative of Emergent 3 presented an employee-focused emergency-communication platform to the Board of Commissioners on May 11.
Joe Brummell of Madison County DES introduced the item and Cameron Smith of Emergent 3 joined by WebEx to explain that the E3 platform can operate on mobile phones and tablets to alert and support county employees and customers during emergencies. Commissioners Duke W. Gilman, William A. Todd and Ron E. Nye discussed potential operational uses and asked clarifying questions.
