The West Rockhill Township Board of Supervisors approved a revised fee schedule that clarifies blasting-permit charges and establishes a towing-permit license fee of $75, matching the fee set by neighboring East Rockhill.
Staff explained that zoning permit fees remain unchanged but blasting permits were clarified to impose a $50 charge for each five consecutive days of blasting rather than an earlier ambiguous phrasing. The board also adopted a towing-permit license fee of $75, described in the packet as consistent with East Rockhill.
The fee-schedule changes were moved, seconded and approved by voice vote. The board read a resolution identifier aloud on the record when adopting fee changes.
In addition to the fee changes, staff noted the township tax rate increased by 2.5 mills in the reorganization packet; the meeting did not include an extended discussion on the tax change and no public comment was offered.
After approving the fee schedule and reorganization resolutions, the board adjourned into executive session for matters not discussed on the public record.
Direct quotes from the meeting include the staff explanation that "the only changes are in red" in the fee packet and the board's recorded affirmation of the motions with "Aye."
