One commissioner noted residents were grateful officers issued warnings instead of citations in those cases.
The agency official said the department prefers education over enforcement at newly changed or poorly marked locations, and noted training-room and facility updates being handled while repairs proceed.
No formal action resulted from the report; commissioners asked staff to follow up about permanent road markings and sign placement.
