The consent agenda passed unanimously (Yes-13) and included: Resolution No. 2026-36 designating May 17–23, 2026, as Emergency Medical Services Week; Resolution No. 2026-37 appreciating clerks and election workers; Resolution No. 2026-38 recognizing Memorial Day 2026 (Jeremy Bates, Bayfield County Veteran’s Service Officer, spoke in support); a budget amendment for sheriff protective safety equipment (Resolution/Ordinance 2026-27); and Amendatory Ordinance No. 2026-06 approving specified ATV routes. The board also approved the March 31, 2026 minutes with corrections.
The board heard brief staff reports on upcoming zoning public meetings, county newsletter items, and a planned request-for-proposals process for corporation counsel.
