Upper Chichester approves Kingsman Park payments, moves forward on CAADC event space and applies for dog‑park grant

On the Fury Road dog park, the board approved a resolution to apply to the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development’s Greenways, Trails and Recreation grant program for $121,411.25. Several commissioners asked whether the project would remove one or two existing fields; Commissioner Hankins confirmed the current understanding is that it affects one field, while staff cautioned the design is still at concept stage and can be adjusted without jeopardizing the grant request.
