At its May 12 meeting the Woodson County Board of Commissioners approved a series of routine motions and recorded several formal actions.
Commissioner Jerry Sedlacek moved and Commissioner Kevin Stuber seconded approval of the meeting agenda and the minutes from the previous meeting; both motions were recorded as passed. The board approved two attorney-client executive sessions (five minutes and ten minutes), and approved at least two separate non-elected-personnel executive sessions requested during the meeting.
On operational items the board approved a $13,000 federal-surplus dump truck purchase (motion moved by Commissioner Kevin Stuber and seconded by Commissioner Jerry Sedlacek) and authorized $15,635 in Road & Bridge building repairs (moved by Commissioner Kevin Stuber and seconded by Commissioner Justin Clark). The board also approved an NRP (Neighborhood Revitalization Program) application for Kyle and Maggie Owens on a motion by Commissioner Justin Clark, seconded by Commissioner Kevin Stuber.
Commissioner Justin Clark moved to approve vouchers in the amount of $199,988.98; Commissioner Kevin Stuber seconded and the motion passed. The meeting was adjourned at 12:10 p.m. on a motion by Commissioner Kevin Stuber, seconded by Commissioner Jerry Sedlacek.
