Chair Stacy Foster called the Chaplin, Hampton, Scotland and Regional District Eleven Board of Education Fiscal & Plant Committee meeting to order Feb. 18, 2025, at 6:18 p.m.
The committee unanimously approved the Dec. 17, 2024 meeting minutes after a motion by Michael Smardon and a second from Ellen Gillon. The committee then approved the district's December 2024 financial statements; Michael Smardon moved and Ellen Gillon seconded. Smardon subsequently moved to revise the motion to approve the financial statements "through present 2025," with Gillon seconding; the minutes record the revision as passing unanimously. The minutes do not record a roll-call vote or individual vote tallies.
Business Manager Jobina Miller reviewed the FY 2024–25 budget forecast for the committee. The minutes record that the forecast was reviewed; no formal action (such as an approval or directive) is noted in the text.
The committee also reviewed and received the maintenance report; the minutes record receipt but do not note motions or follow-up assignments associated with that report.
A motion to adjourn was made and seconded and the meeting was adjourned at 6:31 p.m. The minutes were signed "Respectfully submitted" by Cassie Haddad.
The session’s minutes and the committee’s recorded motions are routine fiscal oversight actions; the minutes do not list vote tallies or identify any dissenting votes.
