Council grants final plat approval for Sunrise Meadows subdivision

Uniontown — The City Council approved Resolution 18-75 on May 11 to accept the final plat for Sunrise Meadows, a 28-lot subdivision south of Roosevelt Avenue.
Chris Bass, who presented the staff report, said the preliminary plat was approved by Ordinance 27-88 (Oct. 28, 2024). He told council that the final-plat review confirms streets, sidewalks, utilities and required frontage improvements have been installed and accepted by the city engineer, that performance and maintenance bonds are in place, and that the final plat map includes all certificates required under Title 17. Based on that review, staff recommended council find that the requirements for final plat approval have been met and to pass Resolution 18-75.
Council moved, seconded and approved the resolution by voice vote. The staff report did not identify outstanding conditions to be satisfied before recordation; staff indicated it was available to answer any follow-up questions.
