A council member moved to approve the minutes of March 17, 2026; the motion was seconded and carried. The presiding officer then moved to approve General Fund warrant number 1650 and the council approved by voice vote. A separate motion to approve Road Fund warrant number 1036 was offered and carried.
The council proceeded through committee reports; several committee chairs reported no items. Members offered community remarks, including thanks to volunteers who staffed a pancake breakfast, praise for staff handling media during the one‑year tornado anniversary, and a council member recounted a local house fire in Spring View in which emergency responders rescued two dogs.
Before adjourning, the council highlighted upcoming downtown events including the farmers market and a June 20 concert on Town Square. A motion to adjourn passed by voice vote.
