La Porte board approves consent agenda, calendar items, staffing positions and purchases; operations fund shortfall noted

At its April 13 meeting the La Porte School Board approved a five-item consent agenda and a string of routine but substantive items including the La Porte Online School 2026–27 calendar, creation of a work-based learning coordinator at La Porte High School, a revised summer-school compensation schedule, purchase of cloud-based nutrition/inventory software for food services, and an operating procedure for unclaimed student fees and textbook credits.
