County manager proposes SPLOST projects, staffing additions for sheriff and a transitional‑housing MOU with First Baptist Woodstock

Staff also recommended a contract with Penncor LLC for firearms range renovations ($2,173,117 plus county contingency), and presented smaller procurement requests (a Trail King lowboy trailer for $115,225; utility relocation with Georgia Power for ~$90,386).
Grants and technical work: Staff described a Georgia EPD reimbursement ($57,311.26) for closed‑landfill monitoring, a USDOT Safe Streets & Roads for All grant application to expand prehospital blood transfusion capacity (equipment estimate $171,000; grant request $136,800 with a $34,200 local match), and a Kimley‑Horn task order (~$65,382.50) for a Stonebridge Parkway bridge assessment.
