The Warren County Tourism Development Authority unanimously ratified the FY2025–2026 budget, approving the spending plan of $278,636 on a motion by McKinley Perkinson and a second by Dian Sourelis. The board also approved prior meeting minutes and the financial statements presented for January.
Board members present for the meeting included Chairperson Michael Hawkins, Vice Chairperson Katherine Hilliard and members Dian Sourelis, Victoria Lehman, Amanda Briggs, McKinley Perkinson and Denny Burrows; Chuck Murray (Interim Treasurer) and Clara Williams were recorded as absent.
Administrative items were handled as part of the consent agenda. The board heard an update on Deckard Technologies’ occupancy tax collections portal and directed Dian Sourelis to attend a demonstration and report back before the board considers any subsequent action at its April 2, 2026 meeting. Cherie Nielsen, the tourism manager, and board members also provided a status update on the authority’s website development.
