Williams Township approves $12,300 WTAA contribution and clears field use for youth soccer and tree-lighting

At its July 10 meeting the Williams Township Board of Supervisors approved three recreation-related motions moved and seconded by Supervisors and carried 3-0.
Vice Chairperson Raymond Abert moved to approve a contribution of $12,300 to the Williams Township Athletic Association (WTAA) to offset operational expenses; Supervisor Michael Bryant seconded and the motion passed unanimously. The Board also approved Wilson Youth Soccer Association use of Township fields contingent on the association supplying proper insurance documentation to the Township. Separately, the Board approved WTAA’s use of the municipal field for the Township’s tree-lighting ceremony.
The Recreation Board’s July 3 report was received by the Board for review; no additional conditions or budget amendments were recorded in the meeting minutes.
