The L'Anse Creuse board ratified a previously authorized bond sale and approved two contracts tied to the bond program Feb. 10.
Administration read a ratification resolution confirming the sale and reported a true interest cost lower than anticipated, which administration said will save taxpayers roughly $1.2 million relative to earlier estimates. The board voted to ratify the acceptance of the offer.
On procurement, the board voted to award technology design services for the 2024 bond program to Integrated Design Solutions for $1,181,000 after a competitive RFP and reference checks. The board also approved a flooring contract to remove and replace flooring at three elementary schools with a total authorization including contingency of $1,394,653; work is planned to begin before summer.
Board members asked procedural questions during discussion but there was no extended debate on the awards; both motions carried on voice or roll call as recorded in the meeting.
