The Gilmer City Council approved a change order recommended by the Parks Advisory Board in the amount of $291,377.00 during its Nov. 11 meeting. City Manager Mary Bullock presented the recommendation and council voted unanimously to accept the change order (motion by Jarom Tefteller, second by Mayor Tim Marshall).
Councilmembers did not record substantive debate on the motion in the minutes; the change order amount was entered as the agenda enclosure and the council authorized moving forward with the work outlined by the Parks Advisory Board.
