"We canceled the SkySpark contract with SiteLogic for the around $22,000 a year. So we've canceled that," the superintendent said.
The superintendent also said staff installed Wi‑Fi at the athletic complex, the bus barn and the baseball field to support live streaming of games and events. He outlined ongoing work on the '27 budget and noted the district is exploring multiple frameworks for PSCO funding while trying to position JWP as a landing site for area students.
Board members asked clarifying questions about PSEO participation and whether students who take PSEO classes are excluded from certain MSHSL recognitions; the superintendent said staff will follow up with MSHSL contacts and report back. The treasurer later reviewed cash balances and said a recent statewide edit increased the district's ADM to 587.47, putting the district slightly above the budgeted ADM for revenue planning.
