Centre County Salary Board unanimously approves personnel appointments and temporary overtime

Kristen Simkins presented two District Attorney appointments. Benjamin Sray and Thomas Bolland were each appointed to full-time Law Clerk, District Attorney (p.c. #22198 and p.c. #22107, respectively) at SG-13A(01), $29.10 per hour. The appointments carry effective dates of Aug. 17, 2026 (Sray) and Aug. 3, 2026 (Bolland). The transcript lists salary budget savings for 2026 of $6,223 for Sray and $9,357 for Bolland, and annualized salary impacts for 2027 of $20,073 and $26,733, respectively. Jim Coslo requested a temporary overtime authorization for the Conservation District’s full-time Resource Conservation Coordinator 2 (p.c. #82203). The authorization permits up to 20 hours of overtime per pay period—only after 40 hours are worked in a week—effective May 14, 2026 through June 27, 2026.
