St. Anthony council approves consent agenda, proclaims March 10 Tibet Day
Summary
At its March 10 meeting the St. Anthony City Council approved the consent agenda (including Resolution 26-022 to join the 2026–2027 Minnesota Green Corps) by a 5-0 vote and proclaimed March 10, 2026 as Tibet Day; the proclamation announced a Tibet Fest on May 10.
The St. Anthony City Council voted unanimously on March 10, 2026, to approve the meeting agenda and the consent agenda, which included Resolution 26-022 authorizing the city to participate in the 2026–2027 Minnesota Green Corps program.
Councilmember Jan Jenson moved to approve the consent items and Councilmember Nadia Elnagdy seconded; the motion carried 5-0. The consent agenda covered the February 24 minutes, licenses and permits, claims and the resolution on Minnesota Green Corps participation.
Mayor Webster also led the council in a proclamation declaring March 10, 2026, Tibet Day in St. Anthony Village. The proclamation noted a multi-city partnership with Columbia Heights, New Brighton and Richfield and the Tibetan American Foundation to co-plan Tibet Fest on May 10, 2026, at Long Lake Regional Park.
The council completed its scheduled business and set the next regular meeting for March 24, 2026.
