Sitta also mentioned interest in flag football being offered by neighboring districts and encouraged Pearland ISD to consider expanding opportunities for students.
Sitta closed by thanking the board and asking the community to "walk alongside us as we continue advocating and raising awareness." There was no board action on the issues raised during the public-comment period.
