The Maples reports full occupancy and $600,000 cash on hand, board hears financial review

Kathy Dube presented The Maples’ annual report to the Benzie County Board of Commissioners on March 10, telling the board the facility had 100 percent occupancy, a waiting list, six beds temporarily on hold and approximately $600,000 cash on hand.
Eric Conway of Plante Moran presented financial statements for The Maples through Sept. 30, 2014. Dube said there were no outstanding deficiencies and that the six beds on hold would come back online Oct. 1, 2015.
Commissioners heard the report as an informational item; no board action was requested or taken regarding The Maples during the meeting.
