Benzie County approves $855,419.06 in payments after amendment; treasurer reports tax settlement progress

She noted forfeiture for 2013 taxes began March 1 and the foreclosure process for 2012 taxes would conclude March 31 at 5:00 p.m. Thompson also said the Land Bank Authority was seeking bids on two Village of Honor properties for cleanup and development.
The board also approved an amendment to the grant agreement with the Michigan Department of Natural Resources and the Betsie Valley Trail Management Council (Grant RIF15-03-03) by motion from Commissioner Carland, seconded by Commissioner Walterhouse; that motion passed unanimously.
