The DuBois City Council approved the awarding of five municipal vehicles sold via auction and confirmed the winning bidders and amounts.
Staff said the mechanics reviewed the vehicles and recommended that the bids were adequate. The council approved awarding the items and directed proceeds to the general fund.
Winning bids and buyers listed by staff were: the 2009 backhoe ($24,800) to Gary Butch; the 2005 Wacker light plant ($1,875) to Vincent Teresy; the 1996 Ford dump truck ($12,700) to Brian Brooks; the 2013 International truck ($6,200) to Vladimir Morales; and the 2010 Travel Vac ($3,900) to Cory YY.
No challenges to the awards were raised during the meeting.
