The Acushnet Board of Health on Nov. 19 filed a Mass. Department of Public Health vector‑surveillance report and heard that recent heavy frosts have reduced mosquito activity, lowering immediate West Nile/EEE concerns until spring. The board voted to file the report.
The board approved minutes from June, July and August after brief discussion about a member’s short attendance at past meetings. The board also reviewed a preliminary fee comparison prepared by staff (with work led by Wanda) and agreed to take the materials home for further study, including how food-service fees are graduated by facility size rather than per seat.
Members confirmed the next meeting date as Dec. 3 and agreed to use the same venue. The meeting adjourned following routine business.
