The Freehold Regional High School District Board of Education voted to approve a slate of personnel and negotiation items on July 7, 2025, moving forward with resignations, several appointments and reappointments and limited eliminations of positions.
During the roll-call vote on agenda items G1–G13, board members recorded abstentions on specific names and otherwise approved the package. Dr. Hazel introduced two administrators by name after the vote: Meredith Adams, promoted to assistant principal at Howell High School, and Dr. Jennifer Gillette, named principal at Marboro High School. The superintendent reviewed each candidate’s experience and described their roles in district leadership.
Board members also reappointed school physicians and administrative leaders including the assistant superintendent for business administration, the chief academic officer and the assistant superintendent for human resources as part of the approved personnel slate. Several members announced abstentions on individual items during the roll call; the motion carried by roll call.
