Halifax finance committee to introduce new town administrator; next meeting set for Feb. 2

“I’ve already got him slotted in on the agenda for our next meeting,” Lindsay said, noting that introducing the new administrator will help the committee understand what the new hire would like to see and expect. Members discussed rescheduling several liaison meetings so the administrator can meet department liaisons, and one member said they hoped the outstanding meetings could be completed this week.
Committee members also reviewed a tentative calendar that includes a possible joint budget review with the Board of Selectmen on March 24 and said they might move that earlier if needed. The committee noted a new SharePoint site for budget spreadsheets and that no public correspondence had been received in recent weeks.
