Alderperson Hansen asked whether the new platform would preserve the community’s site design; Kim, a city staff member, said the council should expect a similar streamlined presentation with some differences and emphasized GovStack’s enhanced capabilities.
The council approved multiple licensing renewals for the July 1, 2026–June 30, 2027 period (Class A and Class B fermented malt beverage and intoxicating liquor licenses and reserve Class B licenses) and adopted the 2026 non‑benefit eligible employee wage scale; staff confirmed the memo’s stated anticipated additional staff cost for the season (reported as $46) and that the amount had been budgeted.
Councilors also approved revisions to the Community Service Grant program’s criteria and structure; staff told the council that while staff can prepare grant applications, allocation choices — such as awarding five full $600 grants versus splitting funds among more applicants — remain decisions for the council.
Mayor Boyd presented two appointments to the Sustainability Commission; Kevin Gerwing stood to be introduced and the council approved the appointments (terms through June 30, 2027).
Finally, the council voted by roll call to retain Stafford Rosenbaum LLP as outside counsel to represent the city before the Public Service Commission on an extension-of-utilities matter for the southeast area of De Pere.
Most votes were unanimous; the meeting’s consent and roll-call votes carried the measures presented.
