Librarian: ceiling tiles to come down tomorrow; flooring and professional cleaning planned

The librarian said the children's area has been cleared so contractors can remove ceiling tile first and haul it away, and that “the next day flooring will come up” and the remainder of the week will be dedicated to preparing the subfloor for new flooring. “All the stuff that was in this room is now in that room,” the librarian said, describing the temporary moves to enable work.
The update said work will pause next week for professional cleaning: ceiling fans and other electronics will be professionally cleaned before further finishing. The librarian described the fans as “just... schmutzy,” and said cleaners will be followed by painter touch-ups once remaining baseboards in the west wing are removed; staff may also install cove molding (a type of commercial baseboard) as part of finish work.
On programming, the librarian reminded patrons that story times run Tuesdays and Thursdays at the recreation center and that AARP tax-assistance remains available by appointment for people needing help with taxes. The librarian said they will discuss March Madness activities in next week's update.
