License Committee approves routine liquor and malt-beverage renewals

The Chair opened the meeting, called the roll and led votes on procedural and licensing items.
Committee members recorded no public comments during the allotted public-comment period; the Chair cited Section 6-3-F-DPMC and asked whether anyone in the room or online wished to speak, and none did. The committee then approved the May 5 minutes after a motion carried by voice vote.
The committee next considered renewal applications for alcohol-related licenses for the upcoming licensing term. The Chair moved to approve nine Class A fermented malt beverage and Class A intoxicating liquor licenses; the motion was seconded by Alderperson Pirock and carried. The committee approved one Class B fermented malt beverage license on a motion seconded by Alderperson Theil. It then approved nine combined Class B fermented malt beverage and Class B intoxicating liquor licenses after a motion seconded by Alderperson Pirock. Finally, the committee approved one applicant for a reserve Class B fermented malt beverage and Class B intoxicating liquor license; that motion was seconded by Alderperson Theil and carried.
Throughout the meeting votes were recorded by voice with the Chair prompting "All those in favor, say I," after which the motions were declared carried. The meeting concluded after the Chair moved to adjourn; the motion was seconded by Alderperson Pirock and carried.
