Florida League of Cities announces Legislative Action Days for Jan. 26–28 in Tallahassee

Holly Smith, president of the Florida League of Cities, announced that Legislative Action Days will be held Jan. 26–28 in Tallahassee and urged representatives from the 411 municipalities the organization represents to attend as the state legislative session gets underway.
"I am really looking forward to seeing everyone January 26th through the 28th in Tallahassee for Legislative Action Days," Smith said, adding that the annual event is an opportunity "to build those bridges, to make those connections" among municipal officials. "This legislative session is officially underway," she said.
Smith described the gathering as a chance for municipal leaders to meet with lawmakers and coordinate priorities for the coming session. She said the Florida League of Cities represents 411 municipalities and encouraged attendees to use the event to strengthen advocacy and relationships with state officials.
Smith closed by reiterating her expectation that members will attend in Tallahassee for the Jan. 26–28 meetings.
