On Nov. 14, 2024, the Agricultural Security Area Advisory Committee of Silver Spring Township met in Mechanicsburg and voted unanimously to accept the Adams parcels into the township's Agricultural Security Area. The motion to accept the parcels was made by Tom Moyer and seconded by Selena Updegraff; all three members present voted yes.
Earlier in the meeting the committee approved the minutes from its May 11, 2023 meeting. Selena Updegraff moved to approve the minutes; Tom Moyer seconded and the motion was adopted by the members present. Laura Brown called the meeting to order at 7:39 PM. No guests or members of the public spoke during the meeting.
With no other business, the meeting was adjourned at 8:05 PM. Minutes were submitted by Laura Brown, chair, and the minutes record indicates they were approved on April 10, 2025. The committee recorded that, having no active issues requiring further meetings, no follow-up session was scheduled.
