West Carter High auditorium renovation delayed; board approves agenda and consent items

During the meeting the board also handled routine business: the meeting agenda was approved (motion by Miss Wheatley; second by Mr. White) and the consent agenda was approved (motion by Katherine Chadwick; second by Miss Wheatley). The meeting closed after a motion to adjourn by Mr. Jenkins, seconded by Mr. White. Supervising staff additionally congratulated Croatan High School carpentry students on a third-place finish in a regional shed-building competition, recognized two board members for completing state school-board training, and announced the next regular board meeting will be Tuesday, April 14 at 6 p.m.
