The Bleto Springs Town Homes final plat — 48 units on approximately 5.17 acres — prompted an engineering request to increase a private three-foot sidewalk to five feet where it ties into public right-of-way; applicant Stephen Vandross (M2 Group) agreed to work through staff comments. Blake Cox (Freeland and Kaufman) told the commission the Chili's landscaping revision will meet code, replacing plantings removed over time.
Commercial-site matters included Savannah Marketplace Lot 4, where staff asked for private-drive connectivity and engineering requested a right-turn lane consistent with the traffic study; applicant Wes McIll (civil engineer) said the project team will update the traffic analysis and coordinate off-line. The McCain Station Lot 4 amended PMDP raised perimeter landscaping and lighting foot-candle issues and an alternative architecture request because the tenant brand proposes metal panels; the applicant said they will seek approvals where necessary.
Most applicants acknowledged staff comments and indicated they will submit revisions for the upcoming voting session. No formal votes were recorded in the transcript during the review session.
