Council approves consent items including 911 recorder replacement and transit board nomination
Summary
On consent the council approved resolution 2026-3R continuing membership in an Atmos steering committee, authorized an interlocal agreement to replace a 911 voice/line recorder (county to cover ~two-thirds of cost; police to transfer about $500 to cover a shortfall), and nominated Tim Holtamp to the Mlennon County Rural Transit District governing body (resolution 2026-004-R).
Robinson City Council approved several consent items, including a resolution to continue membership in a multi-city steering committee for municipalities served by Atmos, authorization to participate in an interlocal agreement with Mlennon County 911 for replacement of the city’s voice/line and radio recorder, and the nomination of Tim Holtamp as the city’s representative to the Mlennon County Rural Transit District governing board.
Staff said the recorder replacement — a device that records incoming police 911 calls and radio traffic — is budgeted and that the county typically covers roughly two-thirds of the cost. Staff said the final cost came in with about a $500 shortfall that the Police Department can transfer from its internal budget to cover. The council moved, seconded and approved the consent agenda items without recorded opposition.
The council also placed a nomination for Tim Holtamp to the rural transit board on the consent agenda and included the name of Hope Camp for an internal nomination (to be read on consent).
